I was blessed to be invited to join the Tabung Haji Media Team in 2011. I was in fact one out of the first two Malaysian bloggers receiving this honor and privilege.
The call came out of the blue and it was from the very top honcho himself. Praising Allahu Rabbul Alamin, I followed up with the requirements and got myself inoculated at a clinic near Ampang Point and headed over to hand in my Malaysian Passport plus the Health Document to the Tabung Haji officials.
I had my measurements taken for the made to order official TH MEDIA team jacket to be worn during my duties there as part of the official Malaysian Tabung Haji media coverage of the 1432 Hijrah / 2011 CE Hajj Pilgrimage.
I was told to be ready to leave on September 20th, 2011.
